Brilliant stock, which I was unable to source elsewhere. Great service. Thank you Lampspares| I had an old Ikea knife block that was no longer required. I liked the chunky wood with banded metal and decided it would make a great table lamp. Hence the purchase. Photo of the finished article attached.

From West Sussex to Seychelles in the Indian Ocean – new ceramic kits from Lampspares have revived three old lamp bases whose electricals had heavily corroded in our humid tropical climate. Needed a little patience, and a hack saw (to shorten stems) but now they’re as good as new. Delighted with them and grateful for your helpful advice.

This lamp is based on a vintage Westinghouse bus bar (shunt assembly). The flexible goose necks work fine and allow multiple choices for angle, but they will buckle if overloaded. The correct weight lampshade and bulb assembly needs to be addressed to allow maximum flexibility.
